WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

RECLAIM

We have a huge global network of suppliers who specialize in the deconstruction of old barns and structures. Our suppliers diligently remove siding, timbers, and other usable materials. They then deliver them to our manufacturing facility in Lexington, KY (the horse capital of the world) to be redeemed and repurposed. Beyond the material we work with, we partner with our network of organizations and ministries to connect with men and women coming out of difficult backgrounds and circumstances who need a second chance. Essentially, we make second chance wood by second chance people.

REDEEM

Our skilled craftsmen spend countless hours washing, metal detecting, milling, puttying, sanding, and finishing our products to bring them back to life. In the same way, every day we are working to break the stereotypes of incarceration and addiction. We remember that we are all broken and in need of a community that believes in who we are and who we can become.

REPURPOSE

We love seeing the repurposed designs created from our antique wood that transform homes, offices, and the spaces people live in. We are lining interiors not only with warmth, but also with the story behind the material they’re laid with. Even more so, we are inspired to see our coworkers find redemption and purpose in their work and lives. We desire to be a small but important part in reshaping how society thinks about incarceration, addiction, the environment, employment, stereotypes, interior design, and the value of work… one stick of wood at a time.

Fall, 2007: Nathan and his lifelong friend Josh took down their very first barn to salvage the beams for his own house he was building.

2016

April 2016: We took our first trip to Venice, Italy, Croatia and Austria for exotic bricole, wine press beams, and Euro oak.

2016

October, 2016: We opened an experimental project by importing olive wood from North Africa and Italy.

2017

2017: We had the privilege of featuring our wood at the University of Kentucky, Asbury University, and The Barn at Fritz Farm projects.

“I really do love creating amazing and creative products out of reclaimed wood for our customers’ homes and places of business. More importantly, I love that we are making a difference in each other’s lives by giving people a second chance. Life really is all about redemption! “
